Write a 2,200-word research paper based on a thorough knowledge of at least two of three plays we’ve studied—The Hairy Ape, Doll’s House, Dutchman—using scholarly criticism, play reviews, and the plays themselves to argue an interpretation based on one of four prompts. Incorporate no fewer than three peer-reviewed works of literary criticism from the Luria Library and a minimum of one play review or similar source that discusses the play in production.
